The design was the result of reverse engineering Fiddleback Forge's handmade process to strip it down to bare bones. This was done to create the most streamlined process to make the knife, and leads to the lowest cost entry into the world of Fiddleback Forge handmade knives. But make no mistake, this economic wonder is the real deal with real world performance.
The Pigmy model is small, easy to use, and amazingly versatile. It is purpose-built for the small cutting tasks you do every day. The Runt excels at your every day pocket knife needs and does what you need a knife for on 90% of the tasks you need a blade to handle. Utility, quality and great design...in your pocket! No locking, no opening, no nonsense...just pull it out and use it. Although, we'd recommend a sheath if you're putting this great knife in your pocket. It's made to cut things, so you shouldn't be one of them.
