The maker at Darlington Edgecraft, Carley Perkins, is the newest apprentice at Fiddleback Forge, and yet, her grinds look like she's been grinding for months, and now she's tapering tangs too!! The Quicksilver features an upswept point and lots of belly. This is a great meat processing and bushcrafting knife for those who like a lot of belly and an upswept tip. Its gorgeous as well.
Andy points out that a newbie maker should not be able to do competant upswept blades. As a point of fact, someone with Carley's experience should still be figuring out how to finish a knife with a tip at all. She is a savant.
