The Protagonist is unique in the Fiddleback lineup as it is a fighter-style design. It's perfectly OK to want to wield this blade...it's for the good guys! Its 5.5-inch blade makes it easy to protect what's yours. And with 10.25-inches in overall length, it has plenty of handle to control it. It is well-balanced and nimble. The handle is incredibly comfortable to hold.
One of Andy's beliefs about knives is that they should be sexy. This knife has curves and lines as good or better than any hotrod. He definitely nailed his goal with this design. Andy says that this is his favorite knife to make because every time he has finished one he feels like a real knifemaker!
